Guinean students' effort is not nearly as naive as it seems at first glance. Already in 2003 they succeeded in forcing the government of their country's poor to pay a similar manner. He Ambassador Rogerio Herbert also refused help from Russian authorities – indeed young people say that do not intend to hurt him, only that it impossible to leave the building until their money. „The ambassador is our hostage, not let him go anywhere. We close all the doors and the diplomatic service will not work until you get paid scholarships,“ said one student.
