Schools will have to cope with the loss of students

V roce 2010 bude o 25% deváťáků méně

Mainly schools will have to begin to address the demographic decline, which causes that in 2010 a primary school of about 25,000 children less than this year. This means that in five years, the high school students got most of the population. The schools then would be only about 15% of those who want to study.

Mainly schools will have to begin to address the demographic decline, which causes that in 2010 a primary school of about 25,000 children less than this year. This means that in five years, the high school students got most of the population. The schools then would be only about 15% of those who want to study.

If they want to keep the schools will need to expand the range of training courses for adults as well, as is already common in EU countries. It would be mainly rekvalifikvační courses for the unemployed. Moreover, it should offer more courses with diploma, graduates to a wider general knowledge, especially learned to work with computer and English, and were expected to be in life to educate. Unfortunately, the state still do not have a concept of lifelong learning and study under the National Training Fund in 2000 only a quarter of Czech companies are willing investivovat in their employees through further education. For companies, training for staff is still too expensive. The solution would be able to depreciate the cost of taxes. Some countries in the European Union was set up individual learning accounts, so money is directed to various people at risk of losing the place.

With a declining birth rate will have to cope, however, the middle and high schools. If you would maintain the current number of places in universities, in theory they could study all of the young population. Therefore, some colleges are planning programs for employees or plan to extend the range of courses for foreign students.
