High schools should get more money

Czech universities have reason to rejoice – the state should get more than usual. The annual increase of approximately one and a half billion Czech crowns, which should cover a regular increase in the number of students admitted to universities, is not sufficient. Lacking is investment in school facilities and increase the salaries of teachers.

The annual increase of approximately one and a half billion Czech crowns, which should cover a regular increase in the number of students admitted to universities, is not sufficient. Lacking is investment in school facilities and to increase the salaries of teachers.

Minister of Education, Youth and Sports wants to Petra Buzkova high school „fight“ the Finance Minister Bohuslav Sobotka from the state budget, a significant amount – five billion. Money should serve to improve the quality of higher education reform and its attractiveness educational work for young professionals who prefer to go for better paid jobs abroad.

The additional funding, which has support for Prime Minister Spidla, according to Ministry Today just may enjoy good schools that offer students something more.
