Socrates – Erasmus is the European Commission focused on higher education. The Erasmus scholarship you are from the EU and the Czech Ministry of Education set out for 3–12 months. This program brings together the majority of universities throughout Europe, not in the EU. But it has a slight disadvantage: that it might participate in as many college students, anyone can go only once. But there is no general registry of names, so it can be hard to detect when someone hit the Bachelor cycle and then again to a municipality, especially in the case of another branch. Another disadvantage, which applies to all scholarships is that they will be included in family income. Discussions on how to make the income tax return box was divided into revenue and grants, although it started, but who knows when they will end and what happens? You must also remember that the study visit is included in the study period. If you plan to disassemble two years, you have much time to be gone Socrates. Indeed, many department has to complete courses while abroad recognize, but you forgive her. If you have problems with language (and yet you have managed to succeed in bankruptcy), you can ask for a contribution to language courses, but this is not widely known languages, like German or English. Would you like more? Contact your department for foreign relations and coordinator for the Erasmus. Information can be found on the website of the National Agency www.socrates.cz. Requests are sent to each National Agency by 15. March.

The Socrates have you been? Studying and teaching faculty? Then do not worry, there's Comenius! It is not just intended for teachers and pupils in primary and secondary schools, as you might have mistakenly thought, but the students pajdáků. You will go to do the teaching assistants as in Germany, after two months already, and you can teach yourself this way to spend eight months. And when you ask at the end of their stay, whether to them when you have a diploma, you go, you have won. And even if you do not offer a place, you will have at least an interesting item in curriculum and teaching experience and a lot of types that you would when listening in the Czech gathered the class very difficult. Applications are submitted to each National Agency until February or March. For more information, visit www.socrates.cz / Comenius.

For college students, but no special program for a study tour abroad is not. About a dozen colleges, while the EU works, but the information leads to a complex path, most probably through the National Agency.

For the academic year 2003/2004 of Foreign Affairs sent to 3589 students and has adopted a 1398 foreign students. When the Czech National Agency advised the faculty (out of 150 of them responded to 50), forty of them said they provide courses in foreign languages and are able and willing – and often it also does – take meui their students and foreigners. Most Czechs travel to study in Germany (more than 25%), followed by France, Great Britain, Spain, Austria, Finland and the Netherlands. It is interesting that for studies beyond the issue of ten per cent more women than men. The average age of outgoing students is 23 years.
