New Faculty in Zlin

Tomas Bata University in Zlín will expand from next year. Proposal to the Faculty of Applied Science has approved the Academic Senate, and left only the consent of the Accreditation Commission Ministry of Education.

Tomas Bata University in Zlín will expand from next year. Proposal to the Faculty of Applied Science has approved the Academic Senate, and left only the consent of the Accreditation Commission Ministry of Education.

Applied Science will be the fourth in a faculty of the University in Zlín – Faculty of Technology, in addition, management and economics, and multimedia communications.

The basis of the newly established faculty will be the constitution, which still belongs to the Faculty of Technology: Department of Mathematics, process control, automation and control technology, applied computer science and electrical engineering. The newly established Department still system analysis and project management. Faculty will be housed in the recently built campus on the southern slopes and the operation should start first 1st 2006th

Studying computer science in Zlín has about 1,000 students – Engineering degree programs in computer science and automation and control technology. And given that knowledge of science is necessary for several university courses, is expected in the future development of cooperation between all faculties.
