University of Pardubice has new president

Yesterday, the new Rector of the University of Pardubice was prof. Ing. George Malek, MD., Who opted for early November and 23 Academic Senate it inaugurated in January, along with thirteen other rectors appointed by the President. Replaced about six years, acting professor. Ing. Miroslav Ludwig, PhD. Who remains in the university as vice-rector for science and creative activity. Will the construction of new premises of the Faculty of Chemical Technology, which is produced in the university campus and should be completed by the end of 2007.

Pardubice ninth chancellor George Malek has served as Vice-Rector of the University for Science and International Relations. Among other things, he worked at the Institute of Macromolecular Chemistry Academy of Sciences of the Czech Republic. A total of 6 years spent abroad, where he taught science and worked at the Universidad Hispalense in Seville, Universitat Politécnica de Catalunya in Barcelona and the National Institute for Material Science in Tsukuba Japan.
