Christmas comes alive with animated film Olomouc

Already fifth year will be the beginning of December in Olomouc, bearing the sign of animation. From 8 to 10.12 is organized by the Department of Film and Theatre Studies UP in collaboration with organizations Pastiche Filmz showcase of animated films PAF 2006th

Already fifth year will be the beginning of December in Olomouc, bearing the sign of animation. From 8 to 10.12 is organized by the Department of Film and Theatre Studies UP in collaboration with organizations Pastiche Filmz showcase of animated films PAF 2006th

On their own this year will come mainly lovers and admirers of Polish animation, animated world that gave many important figures and works. As part of the show and its visitors will be able to familiarize with the development of Polish and especially thanks to a project called 55 years of Polish Animation, which was created as a traveling showcase of the best in Poland for the past 55 years came to be. Guests will the legend of Polish Animation: Daniel Szczechura, Marcin Giżycko, Piotr She wondered Nenow and Damian.

The entire program will be divided into about thirty blocks to show visitors how to present retrospectives of major artists (Borowczyk, Rybczynski, Stepanek), important guests (spouses Mergl, D. Szczechura, P. She wondered, and others) as well as current trends in marginal spheres animation (Machinima, video art, D. Possible, F. Kirschner, Siggraph).

If you are a fan of comics, then you should visit the exhibition of Paphos, which presents the best of Czech comics since 1989. On it you can get acquainted with new trends, new techniques and new stories in comic creation, who brought it to the current generation. Those interested in comic works will then be invited to participate in seminars and workshops titled What is born comics or comic-making workshop. In addition, the participants prepared a lot of side events and concerts.

One thing is important to know! If you would like to attend this exceptional event, it is necessary to accredit and forward it via the Internet. The deadline for accreditation is Thursday, December 7, 2006 at 12:00. The accreditation fee is 250, – CZK (200, – CZK for students) for the entire duration of the show, including events.
