To try a free flight into space?

Are you 15–18 years? Interested in the universe? Can you English? Want to try a simulated rocket flight and learn more about flights into space? Just for you is determined by the International Space Camp, which takes place in late July in U.S. Alabama.

It is a demanding one-week training program. The theory is it alternates with practical training on the unique facilities. Participants attend lectures, focusing on space program, receive part of the actual training of astronauts led by professionals (including members of the team's active astronauts) and participate in simulated space shuttle flights.

How can you participate? The event provides students with the Czech Prague Planetarium, in collaboration with Marshall Space Flight Center of NASA. Free auditions will be held in Prague Planetarium already this Saturday, the 24th February 2007, from 9.30 hours! Those interested can register by e-mail isc@planetarium.cz. The main criteria are knowledge of English and an interest in space flights. Chosen to be one girl and one boy.

The entire stay at the International Space Camp paid by the organizer. Participants themselves must pay only transportation from Prague to Hunstville and back, incl. insurance. More information about the foreign residence, see „here.“: Http://spacecamp.com/
