If you fancy studying history and you missed on the field to submit an application, you still have a chance. Faculty of Arts University of West opens in the next academic year, two new historical subjects – modern general history and modern Czech history. Sending the application deadline is 31 May 2007.

If you fancy studying history and you missed on the field to submit an application, you still have a chance. Faculty of Arts University of West opens in the next academic year, two new historical subjects – modern general history and modern Czech history. Sending the application deadline is 31 May 2007.

Students of these new fields are gradually during the three-year study acquainted with prehistoric, ancient, medieval, early modern, so-called long nineteenth century and twentieth century, and in view of the study program in modern history will be increased emphasis placed on the events of the twentieth century.

Entrance exams are held in the form of a written test which will include 60 questions from the Czech and world history, philosophy, art history and general political, cultural and historical overview.

Since the academic year 2008/2009 is already planning to open a faculty of an accredited master's field of modern history. New on the Philosophy Faculty in Pilsen is a combination of English languages ​​- German in the field of Foreign Languages ​​BA commercial practice. The deadline for sending applications for this combination of languages ​​is also postponed to May 31.

New round of entrance exams also lists the Institute of Art and Design University of West Bohemia, in the fields of Book Culture, Media and didactic illustrations, Multimedia Design – specialization Graphic Design.
