Euromanager - realistic simulation of the corporate environment

Euromanager is an international team competition, which starts its already the 25th year. The first participation in this project has brought representatives of the Czech Republic, represented by University students, winning the international final in Paris. This year, the Czech students put on a beautiful third place in competition of 13 countries. The finals took place on 21 – 26 9th in exotic Macau.

The first participation in this project has brought representatives of the Czech Republic, represented by University students, winning the international final in Paris. This year, the Czech students put on a beautiful third place in competition of 13 countries. The finals took place on 21 – 26 9th in exotic Macau. Czech Republic was represented by Charles University and the University of composition: Michael Cenek, Jan Kopecky, Ladislav King, Mark and David Babšický strap.

Euromanager you in many ways reminiscent of the now popular computer game, where it created a fictional world, characters, setting assigning work, build houses, etc. Here are a very realistic simulation of the corporate environment. It is based on computer processing of a fictitious market, business model where firms compete to reach the highest price per share and the best market position based on earnings. This test will also determine the winning company in the market and winning the team competition. Students can get in this unique opportunity to not only compete with other students from around the world, but also professionals from the field. Examines the knowledge already acquired, enriched by new and try out a "mock practice.

The initial conditions are the same for all teams. Each model is assigned a company and the information describing the financial and economic status in the market. A computer model then evaluates the implications of the chosen solutions teams in marketing, manufacturing, human resources, logistics and finance, and the final balance (profit – loss) that a given society. Contestants team may be composed of a maximum of 5 participants. Each of them is the manager of one of the above five areas. All teams have their manager.

Euromanager the project, which last year 140 teams participated from students, managers and business may be eligible 3 to 5-member teams through the web form on www.euromanager.cz, no later than May 11, 2003. Students have access to free competition.
