The error occurred when evaluating the admission tests at the Law Faculty of Charles University. The consequence is an excessive number of accepted applicants – their number is nearly one thousand.

The error occurred when evaluating the admission tests at the Law Faculty of Charles University. The consequence is an excessive number of accepted applicants – their number is nearly one thousand.

There was a situation with them, of course, raises several technical problems: everything is on the long queues and lecture rooms are bursting at the seams, even though instruction in the largest auditorium. First year students had to be divided into two groups, so all the lectures take place twice. Professors, however, still receive the same pay.
Some students fear that the faculty will try to forcibly reduce their number. According to the vice-dean for admissions George Hrebejk but no pogroms threatened. Students waiting just an extension of the examination period. Teachers who caused the mistake, was reportedly ordered unspecified fine in school, however, has continued.
The incorrect assessment of nine issues raised by some students see the corrected tests. Science therefore had to take additional 266 applicants. It is not inconceivable that the error was in fact even more. But, says Dean Hrebejk: „Where there is no plaintiff, there is no judge.“
