University of Hradec Kralove held next year, already the 16th ** year ** Summer school of historians on which invites not only experts but also all those who like to wander past.
The first day of the course, ie 25th August 2008, all participants learn more about the not so famous descendants of George of Podebrady, who founded an important princely dynasty in Silesia. By choosing this theme authors responded to summer school at the latest scientific and historical work on the grounds of the University of Hradec Kralove, whose output as books Silesia – Unknown Czech lands or Poděbradova, Českomoravské House of Lords, kladských Silesian princes and earls.
The second day of the course will focus on selected attractions from the past. Because of significant historical milestones in this year's „octal“ in speaking up unusually often, the authors decided lectures reveal more pieces of everyday life such as people living a century ago and introduce lesser-known historical moments.
Summer school of historians organized by Faculty of Arts University of Hradec Kralove, along with the Association of Historians of the Czech Republic – Hradec Kralove branch. It will take place in the building UHK FF (Svobody 331, Hradec Kralove), in classroom B, 9, and on Monday 25th ** August from 9:15 pm ** ** 26th and Tuesday August from 8:30 pm ** The sale will also include specialized publications with historical themes.
