On 27 and 28 November 2003 rectorate took place at the Technical University in Brno, the third annual national student conference CURRENT STATUS AND ROLE OF HIGHER EDUCATION STUDENTS 2003 under the auspices of the Rector Prof.. Ing. Ing. Jan Vrbka, MD.
On 27 and 28 November 2003 rectorate took place at the Technical University in Brno, the third annual national student conference current role and status of university students in 2003, under the auspices of the Rector Prof.. Ing. Ing. Jan Vrbka, MD. As an opening statement was read greetings from the doc. Ing. Petr Kolar, PhD., Deputy Minister of Education, Youth and Sports, which regrettably was unable to personally attend the conference.
The main topic was „The Role of Student in Civil Society“. Speakers, among which figured among others Ombudsman JUDr. Otakar Motejl, by architect Martin Laštovička, rector of the Janáček Academy of Performing Arts professor. Mgr. Vaclav Cejpek and MD. Mgr. Langer in their contributions recalled the importance of students in the important moments of our past and raise the issue of student involvement in policy issues and activities of students active in academic senates.
The whole program was divided into sections revolutionary student, and student politics, the ideal student and a student senator. Their papers and discussion contributions interfere to block all 125 participating students and teachers from various universities.
