Unfortunately, such a formula we do not know us, but at least we bring you a few tips that might your decision a little easier.
** Where to look for advice? ** If you still do not know where to send your application, do not despair. Consult can be your teachers who know you well, or educational advisor. They now provide most of our secondary schools. Another option is to use the services of some of the „pedagogical-psychological counseling“: http://www.scio.cz/in/2ss/ppp.asp, but you can turn on the educational agency „AMOS“: http://www. kampomaturite.cz / index.asp? menu = 790 & record = 20096, or the so-called „youth information centers“: http://www.icm.cz/katalog-icm (if located in your town) and others. Questions about the perspective of such applications in your region will also be pleased to answer in the „information counseling centers“: http://portal.mpsv.cz/…radstrediska, which operates at the labor offices. A very good source of knowledge, the students themselves tend to be your chosen field. Asking you to have them not only on the content of entrance examinations, but also how learning takes place and how are they satisfied themselves with the organization of teaching. IF you do not know the student personally, you can help a variety of student servers. They are either designed for all students across the country, or is organized by students of specific schools. Equally good help are all sorts of publications, where today there are many, newspapers continue to be teaching or presentation of individual school handbooks. If your chosen school still holds open day, you should not miss.
** Entrance Exams ** Although the following advice may seem trivial, does not underestimate her. This advice is always well-read, what you waiting for entrance exams. „Test of the English language“ or „test of general knowledge“ are very broad concepts. It is therefore good to find out beforehand what the minimum knowledge of the language is expected of you or what area of general knowledge examination will be at the core (if, for example, her politics, history, geography …). Do not forget to also check out what high school textbooks and other recommended literature will be based on exams (most schools the information published on its website). If the test is two, well-read, what is expected of you and at the oral interview, and prepare in advance as you advance into the second round expected. Catching skills and requirements necessary to fulfill the second round at the last moment does not have to always pay … And most importantly: do not be discouraged intensive tests. Are often an indicator of quality teaching.
** ** The content of studies The basic lesson is: Do not select a field by name, even if it sounds like one of your dreams. Could you then had to be very surprised that you are eventually forced to learn in a completely different story than you originally imagined. When choosing, ask yourself some basic questions:
Each conforms something else, someone better learn from books, like other leaves „into the field“ and just trying to apply the acquired knowledge in real life. Find out why, whether the study includes mandatory practice or other projects that suggest the direction of the field rather practical or theoretical.
Sometimes it may happen that the last encounter on the field, which you might like it, but it will not find a combination that would satisfy you. Different schools, however, usually offer different combinations, just looking.
Most schools publish their study plans on its website. Certainly, it pays to read them. If you do not find among them too many objects that you are interested, it is better to look elsewhere (but also applies here: do not be fooled by their name and be sure to read their annotations, if available).
Remember that fields with the same or at least a similar focus on the different schools can appoint different. You can be sure of that example in our section „SPECIAL OF BRANCHES“: http://www.vysokeskoly.cz/…em/index.php?… or also in the „COMPARE FIELDS“: http://www .vysokeskoly.cz / system / index.php? article = 2045 & section = 119, which you can facilitate your search.
** Cost ** Although the distance from your school of residence is the most important parameter by which to make decisions, it should not be underestimated. That is a decision whether you continue to live in the comfort of home and just commute or completely osamostatníte. It is good to at least roughly calculate the costs associated not only with accommodation, but also catering and travel. Find out how you can financially help the school (through scholarships), parents or any job. Your time would be but definitely not convert in the pursuit of living, studying and social life that you should take (at least initially) a little more time than work.
** What do after school? ** It is quite understandable that a person who wants to continue their studies after secondary, now think of one thing – to get to a school. Some students are therefore often out of desperation and submit an application (the worst case only) where they have a great chance of acceptance, whether in any field. But it should be up to the ultimate solution, because experience shows that a similar decision in the end is just a waste of time.
