Ministry of Education is suing the Law Faculty in Pilsen

Minister of Education, Youth and Sports Miroslava Kopicová called Rector of the University of West Bohemia in Pilsen to perform review procedures for revocation of illegally obtained university degrees. The Ministry will also turn to the state prosecutor with a request to investigate the criminal context of the case of the Faculty of Law University of West Bohemia in Pilsen.

„Ministry of Education, Youth and Sports, or the Accreditation Commission is by law not for investigation of possible criminal connections,“ explained Minister Kopicová.

In the opinion section of legislation and law is the responsibility of the Ministry of Education high school leaders to review or invalidate improperly obtained university degrees.

"Information about whether a particular individual is (or was formerly) a student of high school, how long and how studying whether and how she completed her studies, etc., are clearly personal data under the Act. The processing of such information is subject to a system under this Act, "according to the opinion section of legislation and the rights of the Ministry of Education. The Ministry, therefore, a list of names of people who study at the Faculty of Law, University of West Bohemia in Pilsen completed in less than a standard term, not to publish.
