Summer School of Environmental Chemistry and Ecotoxicology

CETOCOEN, Centre for research on toxic substances in the environment at the Masaryk University in Brno, organized in cooperation with the Secretariat of the Stockholm Convention on Persistent Organic Pollutants summer school focused on addressing the problems with toxic substances.

This is the first activity within the project ** ** CETOCOEN, but that builds on previous successful editions organized under the auspices of RECETOX. Participants – both professionals and students – will mainly learn how to measure and map the presence of harmful substances in the air, water and soil, and how in their countries to solve problems associated with this pollution.

The Summer School of Environmental Chemistry and Ecotoxicology is registered for 50 experts from around the world. The event will be held from 28 ** June to 3 ** July 2010 within the University Campus at Bohunice.
