Faculty of Electrical Engineering, University of West Bohemia (UWB FEE) announced a second round of admission for those interested in full-time study. Applications to undergraduate courses in full-time study may be submitted up to 27th ** August 2010 **.
The reason for such a step, according to data published on the website of the faculty, „particularly successful entry into the Faculty of Electrical Engineering of the EU project for which it is necessary to ensure a sufficient number of qualified workers.“ This project is to be the new Regional Innovation Center of Electrical Engineering (RICE), for which is already in the words of Dean of Engineering George Hammerbauera start with the education of prospective graduates in the fields of electronics, energy, power electronics, drives, and diagnostics and more.
Application for Bachelor's degree programs may be submitted in writing to the Dean's Engineering UWB or „electronic form“: http://eprihlaska.zcu.cz. Entrance exams are not held – applicants are accepted only on the basis of high school study results and other professional activities.
