Press news

Preparation of the conference on 8 – 10 September, gaining momentum. On the course we asked the chairman of the organizing committee, which is – Assoc. Ing. Peter Bacau, Ph. D.

** Assoc. ** Bača graduated from University of Technology, Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science ** ** field of electrotechnology. Here he completed doctoral studies and defended his management of Associate Professor. Professionally be transformed into issues of research and development, diagnostics and specialty chemical applications, sources of electric energy. He is the author or co-authored numerous publications in professional journals and proceedings of international conferences. It is a member of the Committee of the Czech Electrotechnical Society and the Central Committee Expert Group on chemical sources of electric energy at CES. It is the main organizer of the International Conference on Non-conventional sources of power. energy (

** What are you looking forward to next year's conference? ** Although the organization of a conference organized very difficult matter, we always look forward to next year. It is one of the few opportunities where one can meet colleagues from related disciplines, which has during the year very little time. Such meetings bring interesting topics that drive the scientific and civic world around us and are beneficial for all involved.

** The conference is quietly approaching, how much is already registered participants? ** Currently we have registered about 35 people, and I know from experience that during the last week we can expect the final onslaught of applications.

** What do you think will be most interesting theme of the conference? ** The most interesting topic will certainly issues about photovoltaics and other renewable sources, as well as CEPS new government modifies the conditions for the construction of new power plants and their operation.

** Who should be the greatest personalities of the whole conference? ** We can not say which of the participating people's greatest personalities, all speakers are leading experts in their field. Just a random mention without academic titles: Pázral, Gregor, Miskovsky, as colleagues from the Slovak Photographers and Dostal.

** It is something to what was really looking forward to? ** Although it will sound strange, but to ensure the smooth running of the conference is so challenging thing that most can not wait to get to bed (which never happen before midnight).

** Will the conference and other supporting program? ** Each right is an inseparable companion conference program and so it is also our conference. This year we are preparing for the news conference participants when the conference website, where you can register at the conference, conference participants have the opportunity to vote on the content of the accompanying program. They can then so can determine what is most interested.

** Thank you for your time .**

** Information about the faculty: ** Electrotechnical disciplines were first at the University of Technology, BUT the first time already in 1905. Since 1959, when it was founded as an independent faculty of energy, which later transformed into the Faculty of Electrical Engineering, has successfully completed engineering studies at our faculty of over 23 000 graduates. In 2001 the present name of Science – Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Communication Technology (FIT) and a year later acquired the accreditation of new modern-ranging study programs in a structured study. The faculty has more than 4,400 students in bachelor's, master's and doctoral degree programs. Studying at the faculty is focused on a wide range of scientific areas: control technology and robotics, biomedical engineering, power engineering and electronics, electrotechnology and electronics, microelectronics, and Radioelectronics Teleinformatics.
