Palacky University joins the European Heritage Days, which take place on 11 and 12 September, and available free to the public spaces of the Rectorate, UP Library and the Chapel of Corpus Christi in Konvikt. "The university is the European Heritage Days connects regularly. We have many architecturally interesting buildings and it is good to show both academic staff and students, but at least once a year and all the inhabitants of Olomouc and tourists, "says Head of Communications Mgr UP. Radek Palaščák.
In the Rectorate building, visitors can see the ceremonial hall, small meeting hall and a study of the Rector. It will also be possible to visit the Chapel of Corpus Christi, which was built between 1721–1724 by Jan Jakub Kniebandl and whose layout resembles the shape of hosts. The building of the university library is then Theresian original armory, which was part of the Olomouc Baroque fortress.
Rector's Office and Library will open Saturday, 11/09 from 9.00 am to 15.00 pm and Sunday, 09.12 from 9.00 to 12.00 pm, Chapel of Corpus Christi from 9.00 to 17.00 on Saturdays and Sundays.
