Institute for Information on Education (IIE) has released its eighth annual called ** Czech education in an international comparison **. Included here are only the most significant indicators of the OECD's annual Education at a Glance Education, but only data for the Czech Republic and their interpretation.
It looks at key indicators related to population and level of education funding education. In addition, it provides a range of statistical data on how many people completed training in various age groups and what is the success of graduates of secondary and tertiary education to enter the labor market. One of the chapters are more narrowly focused on the school environment and school organization and there are no such data on the remuneration of teachers, number of students to teachers or class sizes. This publication is also paid great attention the current issue of student loans and other forms of support to students and on adult education.
All figures mentioned in the book are based on data collected in the school year 2007/08, respectively. for calendar year 2008, unless otherwise indicated. Data on expenditures are based on financial year 2007.
