Winter semester began at the University of Pardubice, more than three hundred foreign students.

Within the European exchange program Erasmus Ceepus and on the basis of concluded bilateral agreements with 140 foreign universities studying in the winter semester of the academic year 2010/2011 at the university and its seven faculties ** ninety foreign students **. They came from 15 European countries and from Taiwan and Russia.

** Another ** 220 foreign students from 34 countries (Europe, Africa and Asia) is studying in standard multi-accredited degree programs.

Most foreign students (not counting the students from the Slovak Republic) studying at the Faculty of Economics and Administration.

Students arriving by Erasmus, during his first days at the University of the so-called „Erasmus Welcome Week“ acquainted with the course of study at university.

As said assistant for international mobility and training Petráňová Eve: * „Our foreign students are given information materials not only about studying, but also about the town of Pardubice, Pardubice Region and the Czech Republic. Czech students of the "Buddy System“ to help the club with foreign colleagues in adapting to the local environment. Prepare for them not only familiar with the city and campus, which become half of their home, but also trips to interesting places in the Czech Republic, sports tournaments, joint meetings and presentations of individual countries from which students come, and other activities revitalizing their study stay in Pardubice. "*

In both semesters of this academic year is expected Erasmus arrival of some 150 foreign students. Abroad is currently 80 students at the university – either studying at partner universities (64 students) or graduate practical internships (15 students).

Programme of the European Union's Erasmus program, allowing exchange of academic mobility, the University of Pardubice participates in thirteen years (since 1997).
