Students will study in Paris at VSB-TUO

Press news

Number of foreign students studying at the Technical University of Ostrava, the annual increase. This year, the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering has managed to expand this major international collaboration.

** After more than a year of preparation, was signed in October 2010 on the French university IPSA Paris (l'Institut Polytechnique des Sciences AVANCEES) one-semester contract teaching French students at the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering VŠB-TUO. French students are studying at the Faculty's degree program in exactly the same program at IPSA Paris and will be for their studies at the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering to apply .**

Students come to study in the countries of Europe, Asia, America and Africa on the basis of bilateral agreements, ERASMUS / LLP and Leonardo and others. They show that the VSB-TUO University is closed. In addition, students study and offers a wealth of outside activities in the largest campus in the Czech Republic. These students are returning home after their best advertisement not only for our university and region, but also for the whole Czech Republic.

After signing the agreement with the Dean of the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering VŠB-TUO prof. Ing. Farana Radim, Ing., And coordinator of ERASMUS / LLP Ing. Milada Hlavackova, Ph.D., met with French students. The meeting was also attended by William Tougeron French students, who studied the VSB-TUO ERASMUS last year. The students were very active, had lots of questions, not only to representatives of the faculty, but also to William. Maybe it's because the IPSA to pay tuition – and considerable, and therefore the students are very interested in their studies. So, next year there will be at VSB-TUO more foreign students and the time between them will be (and we believe that in large numbers) as well as students in Paris.
