Metropolitan University Prague, ops (MUP) are among the oldest and largest private university in the Czech Republic. Long term interest of applicants to the Metropolitan University Prague testifies to the reputation of quality educational institutions. In the academic year 2010/2011 at MUP studying more than 5,000 students. Metropolitan University Prague is one of the leading private universities in the Republic to the extent of international cooperation. For the implementation of international activities MUP created a wide network of more than 100 co-operating universities in the Erasmus program in Europe and in the regions of America and Asia.

English taught courses at MUP (Anglophone Studies, International Relations and European Studies) is a prerequisite for international cooperation and contribute significantly to the international atmosphere of the University, as evidenced by the presence of many foreign students and academic experts.

MUP focuses primarily on the development of student mobility (study abroad, work placements) and mobility of academic staff and other employees. Long-term aims as well as cooperation with foreign institutions in particular in the field of joint research projects or implementation of joint study programs. School Without Barriers Comprehensive support for students with disabilities implemented MUP-based Daily center. Currently studying in the country, more than seventy. Implementation of this program, the University received several awards, such as the international price Handinnov Europe 2008 Awards Committee of Good Will – Olga Havel Foundation Award and the same chance – Employer of 2010, where the contest ranked third.
