The fourth edition of the International Charlemagne Prize for young Europeans a chance to give back the original projects of people aged sixteen to thirty years. Price is for young people involved in projects aimed at promoting understanding between peoples of the European Union. The deadline for submitting applications is ** to 23 January 2011 **. Three winning projects will receive a grant of 5000, 3000 and 2000 euros.
The winning project should serve as an example for young people living in Europe and should include practical examples of the Europeans living together as one community. Among the selected works are youth exchange programs, art or internet projects with a European dimension. In the past, was a successful example, the Polish project „YOUrope needs YOU!“ representing informal workshops for teenagers, the French „European Festival of University Theater in Albi“ or German „Train for EUROPE“ designed twenty-four cooperating colleges.
