** International ** Organization for Migration (IOM) in cooperation with the European Commission launched a Europe-wide competition called Migrants ** ** In The Spotlight, designed for university students. They are in it to write a story or a documentary film or spot with the theme of migration and integration, and that must concern only the issue of integration in Hungary, the Czech Republic, Latvia, Lithuania, Romania and Slovak Republic.
The project is open to all undergraduate students from EU countries aged 18–28 years. His work, however, the competition must submit only in Hungary, the Czech Republic, Latvia, Lithuania, Romania and the Slovak Republic, and later to 4 ** ** April 2011, 17 pm CET. All entries must be processed in the English language (or at least should be provided with English subtitles), and had incurred earlier in 2010. The theme should be an interesting way to present an issue of migration, integration and / or cultural diversity in the countries listed above. Articles must meet the range between 1 500–3 000 words, and documents and announcements will then have to fit into the range of 5 to 10 minutes, including title and end credits.
Prizes for winners === === The winner in each of the two categories will be awarded 1 000, second place EUR 500 and the third is 200. Besides the financial rewards of a diploma and the winners will also be invited to the awards ceremony at the international conference „Promoting the integration of migrants through the media and intercultural dialogue“, held on 17 to 18 May in Budapest on the occasion of the Hungarian presidency. The winning work will also further promoted by the media.
