CTU has a new building of the Faculty of Architecture

22 February 2011 was inaugurated the new building ** ** Faculty of Architecture, Czech Technical University in Prague Dejvice. The project, Alena Šrámková.

The building has eight floors and 79 classrooms and auditoriums. It will serve not only architects, but also computer science students. Iron-Supplemented with brick concrete structure cost a total of 1.2 billion. It is the largest construction investment CTU for the last 35 years.

The ceremonial opening of the building and attended by Czech President Vaclav Klaus and Archbishop Dominique Duke. The building is known as an architecturally minimalist and very economical in terms of energy.
