Forensic analysis on ICT

University of Chemical Technology in Prague, has been accredited to the degree Bachelor degree in forensic analysis. Application can be made from 1 July 2011.

Form the basis of the training courses and seminars in the fields of chemistry, biology, genetics, physiology, toxicology and criminalistics. In the lab students will acquire relevant practical skills and habits. In addition, get an education in the field of information technology so that they can process data from DNA analysis and comparison with forensic databases. Students also learn the basics of criminology, including the legal and ethical issues.

Graduates will find employment in laboratories focusing on molecular biology, development and analysis of compounds and materials. For example, will be able to participate in the investigation of serious crimes, but also to work wherever needed analysis of inorganic, organic or biological samples, including food.
