On Tuesday 11 October 2011 in the library Pardubice Regional Hospital, and opens the newly equipped learning center that will serve students of University of Pardubice.
Opening the center will take place within the project study programs in Medical Innovation, which from 1 implemented in April 2011 Faculty of Health Studies. This project is focused on innovation of teaching in three undergraduate and one master's degree programs Faculty of Health Studies, University of Pardubice and responds to the fact that in the Czech Republic escalating social demand for highly qualified medical staff, which is education according to the latest findings in medical fields and who is creative, flexible and critically minded.
The opening will be attended by the Dean of the Faculty of Health Studies professor. MD. Ernest Pellant, MD., Vice-Dean of the Faculty Peter Mandysová, MSN, MD and partner representatives. Roman Michalek.
Pardubice Regional Hospital, Inc. is a partner of the project and its premises also held some teaching activities. Part of innovation is therefore not only improve learning facilities on the university premises, but also in Pardubice Hospital. * „The university here has helped build a study center and provide them with computer technology, enabling students to improve access to professional information within the university network and professional databases,“ says Dean of the Faculty of Health Studies professor. MD. Ernest Pellant, MD. and adds: „Students will use knowledge gained from innovative teaching and practical application will gain knowledge and skills associated with the use of information systems and databases, professional literature.“ * Center, where you can take self-study and preparation of theses, they will be available every weekday day except for Wednesdays, and always by 10 hours. Closing time on Monday on 17 hour on Tuesdays and Thursdays at 16 hour and on Friday the 15th an hour.
University of Pardubice in this project also upgraded equipment at the hospital auditorium, which is teaching. The total amount utilized to improve learning facilities in Pardubice regional hospital and over 250 000 CZK.
The project study programs in Medical Innovation CZ.1.07/2.2.00/15.0357 is funded by the European Social Fund and the state budget.
