Institute of Tropics and Subtropics is the specialized „Czech Agricultural University in Prague“: http://www.czu.cz. Its history dates back to the sixties, when the Faculty of Forestry at the Agricultural University in Prague Department established the world's agriculture and forestry. In 1967 the department was elevated to the Institute of Tropical and Subtropical Agriculture, who later became an independent department. Full independence was achieved in 1991, when it became a training center for postgraduate students.
Institute of Tropics and Subtropics is the position of the Czech University of specialized work at the faculty. The school offers two undergraduate courses (Tropical and Subtropical Agriculture and Sustainable Development of the tropics and subtropics), seven master's courses (Sustainable Rural Development in Tropics and Subtropics, Sustainable Rural Development in Tropics and Subtropics for part-time studies, International Economic Development, Tropical Crop Management and Ecology, Tropical Forestry and Agroforestry, Animal and Food Sciences in the Tropics and Subtropics, Wildlife Management in the Tropics and Subtropics) and two doctoral courses (Tropical and Subtropical Agriculture and Sustainable Development in the Tropics and Subtropics).
