Study of art history in Telc

Masaryk University in Brno this year offered a new alternative for those interested in studying art history. About thirty of them have become the first trainees of a combined bachelor's degree in this field, focusing on the protection of cultural monuments, which opened in the South Moravian town of Telc.

Masaryk University in Brno this year offered a new alternative for those interested in studying art history. About thirty of them have become the first trainees of a combined bachelor's degree in this field, focusing on the protection of cultural monuments, which opened in the South Moravian town of Telc.
Variant of single-discipline of art history specializing in architectural preservation, museology and art historical preservation of cultural heritage echoed especially among workers who are in this area for some time already moving. Instruction is provided in the form of consultations, taking place once every 3–4 weeks to work at Masaryk University in Telč. As in the initial study, students will have three years of a bachelor's degree. While full-time program, but students can choose courses, distance learning graduate trainee gradually all objects of art history and related disciplines, in the so-called short form. The TELC will also be a practical teaching component.
Telc in 1970 became the city's conservation area, in 1992 it was included on the List of World Cultural and Natural Heritage. On this list, currently ranks a total of 11 cities and monuments of the Czech Republic.
