The government approved a reform of the universities, under which universities will receive over the next four years, in addition eleven billion crowns. They will be able next year to take a 17 thousand students in more than a year.

Overall, the school will now have about 77 000 places for new students, but allows for the fact that most will end after a three-year Bachelor's program. Master's and Doctoral programs are already available only for the best.

Expanding undergraduate programs should increase the number of college students who successfully complete their studies. It should be not only the current five-year study divided into two parts, but to adjust their program so that after the first three years students with particular knowledge relevant to practice.

Another change concerns the financing of student accommodation and meals. The government will not subsidize the cafeteria and beds in dormitories, housing allowances will be from October next year to get every student. For now, it will be about 600 crowns per month.
